Oh dear, just my luck! She was listed on her marriage cert (1909) as being in Mansfield, was hoping she'd have been there in 1901. Her dads name was Thomas Frost, a miner. She had no other names. I havent got Thomas' birth details, as this is what Im trying to find out. I only have Alices marriage cert so havent got her mums name. If I can track her birth down, I'll apply for the birth cert. Doesnt say deceased on cert, so was prob alive.

Can't see her listed as Alice Frost on 1901 census on-line did she have any other christian names? Looked at ages between 13-18 ~ lots of Alice Frosts born elsewhere though! Maybe can narrow search down a bit - where was Thomas Frost born? - was he still alive when she married?

Feel a bit cheeky as Ive already had a look-up today (Ernest Evans, thanks Lynne & Elaine), but could I have a 1891 or 1901 look-up for Alice Frost born 1886 in Mansfield (Notts), daughter of Thomas Frost. (Alice's marriage cert says Thomas Dunn Frost I think, but Not certain about the Dunn bit...difficult to read). Thomas was a coal miner. Alice lived on Broxtowe Drive before she married. Thankyou if anyone can do this.
