Hi Deborah, That is what I thought but back then, maybe it would have only been small print? Maybe he died while the first world war was on so didn't make it? I've done some searches but nothing has come out of it. I also went through every death certificate for John Morton but nothing that matched..... Regards Lynn |

Hi, I've looked and looked and looked. I've also been up to Edingburgh's record office but can not find a death. His name is John Morton born 12th April 1892 in Glasgow. His parents were William Morton and Margaret Edwards. The family rumour is that he died from a diving accident in Scotland. Any help would be gratefully received. Kind regards Lynn |
