Hi Geogina and all I also couldn't find a marriage for her to a borthwick, maybe you's are right and she never has married it has crossed my mind. Think i'll send off for her oldest child birth certificate and see what information it has on there, I also found my gr grandad living with the watson family, but been unable to put a connection to the family. I`ve just found something that is quite strange. I had a look on `findmypast` and came across a marriage for Elizabeth Moor in 1879 in Tynemouth Ref 10b 324 and a marriage for James Kennedy in Tynemouth in 1889 Ref 10b 324. As there is a 10 yr gap, surely the page number would have moved on for James`s marriage unless there has been a mistake and this is the marriage we have all been looking for. What do you all think? Hi Nana Up North, I think if they did ever get married i think it would of been gateshead or newcastle area. in 1881 she was living scotts yard Gateshead, and all the children were born in gateshead I have just got such a complicated family nana. Thanks for your help Ann
