It looks like i may have to send for William and Charlottes marriage certificate to find out what Williams Father was called. I did once hear that Evelyn had a Brother called John,but nothing to back that up. My nan passed away just after i was born so never realy met her. Mark.

yes Christine is Evelyn's sister well looking at it now im not sure seeing as Evelyn was born in December and Christine in March the following year

I am lead to believe that around the time of Evelyn marring my grand father c1928 in sussex her father William Moss, was working and living in the sussex area. Is there anyway i could find out when and where he died???? Thanks for all your help so far guys. Mark.

There is this birth for Evelyn Moss in Berkshire in 1911:- Name: Evelyn L Moss Year of Registration: 1911 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec Mother's Maiden Name: Cannings District: Newbury County: Berkshire, Hampshire Volume: 2c Page: 496 You could send for this giving her father's name as a checking point to be sure you get the right one (there are three other births for Evelyn Moss's near this date but not in 1911). That way you would have her mother's name and you could look for the marriage of her parents which would hopefully give you William John Moss's father's name and occupation, which will help to find them in the 1901 census.
