FamilySearch has these two, but as Claire says, there will be loads of David Davieses fitting the info you've given. There are lots in the census records.
Are you able to narrow it down to a particular area of Wales? Have you found the family in any census? And if so, can you give us the details, or copy/paste it on this thread, please?:

Rosemary as you can see I'm in Wales. Looking for a David Davies here is like looking for a grain of sand on a big beach.

You will need to know when and where they were born to be able to search for them on this site.

How did you find out their names if you aren't sure when or where David was born?

His birth seems rather early for him to be your grandfather...........which of his children was your parent?

Who did David marry?

Have you looked for him in the censuses?

1871 and 1881 are free and in full on the familysearch website

Rosemary

unfortunately, you are very unlikely to find anyone related to these people just passing by.

This site does not work that way.

There are about 12-13 million members of GR. I once worked out that less than 1000 people knew about these Boards, and that probably many fewer than that actually used or looked at the Boards.

YOU have to do the search yourself .......... by searching the Member Trees.

Go to Search in the top right

Click on it, then click on Search All Member Trees

enter the names, one name at a time

If any member has them in their tree(s), then you can send a message by the internal system to that member.

BUT please do provide information as to why you think there might be a connection between you, rather than "open your tree"
