Hi Not sure if anyone is able to help but i have become very confused doing my tree. I have relatives Albert Francis lewis and james Beynon (the surname was misspelt in two of the census!) but i overcome this and am able to follow them to a point , my problem is they went to live with a family in the 1891 census and they are all described as "stepson" to the head of the house but i cant find them in earlier census to see who their father or mother was i seem to be going round in circles i think the mother was called Maria and married a man named Gamlin taking with her her children from the previous marriage but i am stuck please somebody help!!! |

I think purchasing the 1882 marriage cert would be the most sensible course of action |
