Hi Anne, that is the correct George from uncles and aunts names. The 1881 census for Thomas Young typed "cotton merchant" is actually written Rattan merchant (for cane chairs etc) which is still the family business. I would be interested to see if Thomas or George travelled to Far East in those days. |

Possibly Cellie is a known as name from middle name Celia , and then nee Sedgwick?, not sure where i got it , though Its James Thomas Young, Thomas young in the 1881 census as 42 years in Lambeth married to Elizabeth , i don't have their parents......any more details would be helpful thanks.... |
