From his marriage info he married a Ruth Kirkman in 1866 at Holy Trinity Bolton.Father stated as James,occ Sawyer. I cannot find a birth for Thomas but found a possible match in the 1851 census. James Smith 30 Sawyer Jane Smith 28 wife Thomas 8 Living with Daviis family Blackhorse st. Bolton I know Smith is a problem area but can any one help Thank you in advance Susi
