In the 1841 census ages were rounded to an even number, hence she is listed s 20 but she could have been older

Her baptisim was 1818, she could have been born before that


Youre right to get certificates, where available

Note:
In the 1841 Census a policy of rounding down ages was in place. As such, people aged:

15-19 were recorded as 15
20-24 were recorded as 20
25-29 were recorded as 25
30-34 were recorded as 30
35-39 were recorded as 35...and so on

Knowing that rounding down the ages makes life a bit easier.

Gins you are right Charlotte could have been baptised any time after her birth.

Why didn't I think of that !!!
