EDIT Just looked at map and see that Southwark is only about 2 miles from Clapham, so looking like a strong contender (Thankyou). So my next question is can anyone find a marriage for John Robbins & Catharine please? ;-)

	Chris Oh I wish even a quarter of mine were so detailed. Mind you I saw a Hampstead Middlesex baptism register where whoever wrote it up gave about two generations back for the mother and father. He gave up doing that after about two pages......That of course was for the 'great and good' families not for my 'rough and ready' lot :-D Chris

Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 324 Send Message	I make that about 14 children? James baptised 1808 is the only James listed amongst them. My only doubt is how John managed to be a Coachman and a Lighterman/Bargeman at different times. Watermen tended to be born into the job! Thanks again. :-)
