her name was sarah jane Bligdon, she was the mother to sarah mary jane carter who was married to thomas henry harcourt, sorry i have no dates.

What was your grandad“s name & when& where was he born??
You need to work back from that, bearing in mind you will have at least 8 ggggrandmothers on your father“s side of the family.

Having another look at the paper work my grandad left, now one bit it says my grt grt grt grand mother as her occupation is H.M military prison , now was she in prison for a crime or did she work in the prison, she was married to richard carter who was a watchman but i have no dates for any of them and would like to find out if they had any other children, again any help i am so greatful for . :-D
