Hi everyone.
I am thoroughly confused at the moment. Can anyone please help me, maybe I am overlooking the obvious I dont know.

Census 1881.
Emmanuel James B.1851c. Hd Hunslet Yorkshire (my Gt.Gt.Grandads Brother)
Elizabeth is his mother from Worcestershire
Jane Woodin stated as niece Worcestershire

Marriage Dec 1881
Emmanuel James to Jane Woodin. Hunslet Yorkshire.

Emmanuel was born in Cheshire then the family moved to Worcestershire.
I am trying to find out how she is a niece, who her parents were and was it the same one he married.

I am a bit confused at the moment ..was this legal if she is his niece?
Any thing would be appreciated.
