Is there anyway I could find out if he married without ordering quite a few marriage certs that appear on the records.

Hi All,
Will someone look up for me Joseph Crawford b 1891 in Bootle, Liverpool.
On the 1901 census he was living with his parent, James and Margaret and sibs Robert, Margaret, mary and Edith address 49 Southey Street, Bootle.
He has always been refered to as 'the other brother'. So I thought it was about time he was brought to life!!.
