Moving back to Mary Ann's children, this 1911 shows her son Henry living with his now married sister Ada:

Marriage or Bann Date: 25 Jun 1901
Parish: Castleford All Saints and St John
Father's Name: John Mason < Farm bailiff (deceased)
Spouse's Name: James Ambler, bachelor - a miner of the Woodman Inn, GlassHoughton
Spouse's Father's Name: Joseph < Publican (deceased)
Witnesses: John & Ellen Thompson.

Although Ada has given the name of John as her father, this is most likely a fabrication using her grandfather's details. A common practice to preserve decency and disguise illegitimacy (although Mary Ann had no qualms about it on Mary jnr baptism).
