I am trying to find and information regarding relatives of three Riley brothers.
William Thomas Riley (dob) 26.02.1865
Albert John Riley (dob) 05.04.1869 (My great grandfather)
Harry E Riley (dob) 07.10.1871
I believe they were all born in the Battersea / Chelsea area.

Albert John Riley married a lady called Catherine Halfpenny. She was born c.1866 in Horton Salop.

Albert and Catherine went on to have nine children, of which seven survived.

William J Riley - born c1896 in Battersea
Catherine Riley - born c1898 in Battersea
Ellen Nora Riley - born 1901 (My grandmother)
Frank Edward Riley - born c1903 Battersea
Arthur Edgar Riley - born c1905 Battersea
Edith Florence Riley - born c1908 Battersea

I believe that one of the sons later moved to Australia or New Zealand with their descendents.

In answer to your earlier question Flick, no I haven't worked on the Riley side of my tree for a good few years, I've been busy looking at other branches (with great success) and thought now was the time to start on this lot again. The trouble is there seems to be so many of them! I'm really hoping that I can come across some living relatives somewhere!!

Is this William J Riley (b 1896) the same who married Florence Catherine (Peggy) ? b 1900. William (Bill) died 1987 and Peggy died 1979. They lived most of their life on East End Farm, Canterbury Road, Birchington, Kent. I don't think they had children. If this is the same William J Riley I'm really keen to chat some more.
