There is no Samuel HOWE in earlier censuses who fits date and place of birth but there is a Samuel ADAMS

1891 Samuel Adams b 1854 Fulham Labourer, single living with mother Ann 63, sister Phoebe 42 and a 16 yearold nursemaid called Charlotte HOWSE
Could she be the C Howe in 1881?
And as Elizabeth was a widow and Samuel single -why did they not marry?

They were all as bad then as what they are now having children out of wedlock. Ha ha

Thats great harriet was about 8 years old when her father died. But now more sisters to find out about.

Elizabeth is Harriets mum

1891 has a Harriett Howe aged 18, boarder in Fulham, Laundress and Born in KENT
Her birth was registered as harriet Elizabeth Howe b 1874 Dec Q North Aylesford Kent 2a 434
Next door in 1891 is Elizabeth Howe 39 wid Laundress b Westminster and her other children were all b Battersea or Fulham
Assuming she is Harriett's mother , Harriett may have assimed she was born Fulham like the others

I think williams dad died when he was very young under 1 years old.x

I didnt think she would have previousl bee married because they married young and didnt it take years to get a divorce then. x

Both fathers shown as dead on the marriage; William and Harriet living at same address: 27Humbolt Road; both made their mark instead of signing
