My cousin just got back to me saying elizabeths father was a miner

I do think that Choccy may have found him and it is interesting because there is also a family of Buttlers at the same farm. A John Buttler 28 a labourer born Illogen and his wife Elizabeth born Porthreth and children Will John Buttler 3 and Jos Buttler aged 5 months.

Found her family on the 1841 census.

Father down as Rector Thomas but it is mistranscribed and reads Reuben Thomas Miner (Tin).

Another thought about the family on the 1861 where we have Elizabeth Cock at the right age and down as daughter. These girls worked in the mines too, I wonder if she was the daughter of a miner who died and Mary and Reuben took her in as their daughter????????
