Remember Elizabeth would'nt have been born yet.

Another thought about the family on the 1861 where we have Elizabeth Cock at the right age and down as daughter. These girls worked in the mines too, I wonder if she was the daughter of a miner who died and Mary and Reuben took her in as their daughter????????

I do think that Choccy may have found him and it is interesting because there is also a family of Buttlers at the same farm. A John Buttler 28 a labourer born Illogen and his wife Elizabeth born Porthreth and children Will John Buttler 3 and Jos Buttler aged 5 months.

Just had a look on your Ancestry tree and think I can just see M for Miner. I did notice that she was 19 when she married Joseph which would make her year of birth about 1845.

Just that it could make a difference if he was anything but a Miner.

Ive gotta ask my cousin to check for me as she currently has the certificate at the mo
