I think she got her facts wrong because the birth she mentioned was not on Freebmd.

Uh oh! What a prat! Didn't get the facts before posting...as per usual, I just get carried away...so sorry!

It was Pansy R M I saw but...

Pansy R M Whitcher, Born 1919 Portsmouth.
MMN - Coffin.

My general searching for my grandfather, William Whitcher brought up a few Whitchers with MMN's of Coffin. I only have the verbal information about my grandad and his sister Myrtle. Mum was Dorothy Coffin.

Therein lies my confusion! Added to that I'm not the brightest button in the box...I rest my case! Again, I am SO sorry for all the confusion and mix up, I am truly embarrassed!

I'm off to hide now!!
