Thanks Choccy & Mary.

On the birth cert that I have is for Cecilia Bebell :-

When born:- Seventeenth July 1893
Where born:- 6 Granby Bldgs Broad Street Lambeth
Father:- Charles Bebell.
Mother:- Cecilia Bebell (formerly Farmer)

Either Cecilia wasn't married to Charles & married Charles Martin or visa versa.

I shall now have to send for marriage certificates.

Army records for Lewis Charles Martin address 4,Buff Place (Same as 1911 census).
Army service Corps number 126790 enlisted 1915.
State married next of kin Mrs Cecilia Martin.

States he married Jessie Amelia Creedy 16/9/1886 no info on another marriage so I don't think he married Cecilia.
Children named are Alice Rose 28/11/1901
Clara Amy Victoria 31/8/1906
Lily elsie 28/10/1909.


Jessie Amelia Martin born @ 1865 died lambeth O/N/D 1893.
So he could have married Cecelia but it looks as though she was still married to Charles Bebell.

Lewis Charles Martin born 1865 Lambeth.
Death ??
Louis C martin born @ 1865 died 1927 O/N/D Camberwell 1d 284.

Thank you all for taking the time to help me with my research into finding Cecilia Bebell 1 & 2.
The information you have given me, was so useful.

I shall now try & find marriage certs for Cecilia (nee FARMER), BEBELL MARTIN if any.
