Thank you Bridget, it's all clear now. So what you need now is the other children on the 1911 census looking for? |

yes that all correct i have the birth certificate and harry and harriet marriage cert and thats where it says harry father is a john storrs traction engine driver.deceased. harry was 32 in 1902 ? cant find anything else its a mystery?which still makes him born 1870 unless he lied about his age? |

Thank you Dea :) That's very strange, as the only birth I can find for a Harry Storrs in East Retford (Clarborough) is in 1866. However, the only likely Harry Storrs in 1901 born in Clarborough and living in Notts is only 17 born c1884. There is something here that we are missing. |

Also, you said that you had found a likely death for Harry in 1940, but you haven't said where the death was or how old he was! I can't find the death you mean. |

I am confused again Bridget. From all you have said the 1911 census and the deathgs/births etc seem to fit perfectly. You say that you know she was born on 16th Feb 2009, (which I take it to mean 1909). How do you know the exact date? Have you got her birth certificate? |

As you mention your grandmother Iris and also an Ivy I suspect that the 1911 census I posted above may be the right one. If someone would be kind enough to look at the full transcription we could see where he says he was born. I can only do a free search. This would perhaps help to find him on earlier census, as I suspect his age in 1911 (40) may not be quite accurate. |

I can't see that death you have found in 1940 Bridget. How old is he and where did he die? |

This is confusing Bridget. The only Harry Storrs that appears to have been widowed in 1913 is this one - |

They all appear to be staying in the same area so far. Another possible death (going by a marriage) for Constance - |
