No the powell is a mistranscription which is why it has been amended at the top of the image.

Interestingly enough there is a Thomas Grayson age 75 living next door to her in 1881. I wonder if he is her future husband's father?

The name on the original IS Emmett, as patchem says.

No, she is Emmett on the image, it has been mis-transcribed as Powell, which is why the correct name has been suggested in brackets.
