It would appear that Ann Tamplin and Walter Barrow Harris co-habited but never actually married. The baptism records of their children all show just the mother's name.
Ann Tamplin died in 1895. here is her burial record
Year: 1895
Month: Jan
Day: 20
Surname: TAMPLIN
Forenames: Ann
Residence: Woolaston
Age_at_death: 77

Thanks, Astra and Clare for all this information, it is very much appreciated.

Is it possible to see who the parents were on the marriage of Emily Harris and John Wilson Sep 1876, Greenwich, 1d 1259

Thanks again.

I can't find a listing for it unfortunately so I'm afraid it looks like you will have to buy the marriage certificate

Hi again,

I do not believe that John Harris and Emily Wilson nee Harris are siblings, maybe Walter Barrow and Emily's father William E were siblings!!

I have suggested to my friend, that the only way she might find out how they are related is to buy Emily's fathers marriage certificate, which might have his fathers name.
