Bear in mind that the WARE registration district includes many other places, so until you have his last address from the death cert, you can't be sure where his burial/cremation might have occurred

Have a look at this page Pittsy. It has an e-mail address on it for the town coucil in Ware. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

The easy and obvious answer is to GOOGLE cemeteries in WARE.

Then contact them.............

I don't think you can do this online. You would have to contact the library nearest to where the death took place. You would need the death certificate first so that you had a date to start looking from. Most large libraries keep back copies of local newspapers on microfilm.

Does anyone have the link to look at phone books in England. Henry George Reynolds was a solicitor in Ware Hertsfordshire and died 1972.

I did random searches on free BDM and there were 1972 deaths there but not this one. I am really trying to determine if it is the right person. I am also trying to find if he was divorced - any ideas. He disappeared apparently with a pregnant women in 1931 leaving his family behind. He served in WW1 but would have just been old enough. Have not been able to find records on his war service. I
1911 Census 54 High St Homerton NE London living with his family as George but appears to be using Henry George (names the opposite way around) after this time. Any help would be appreciated.
