Looks like one of the Annie Vose's at Prescot had another family member Alice on the 1891 census, she on the top of the census page on GR and I can't get back to the previous page to see the other family members - can anyone else check? On FMP she is transcribed as Annie Vose 1880 registration district Prescot. |

If you are sure of that 1905 marriage Una, the best way forward would be to buy that certificate, otherwise you could end up tracing the wrong family. Vose was quite a common name in the area |

there was another Alice Vose registered 1879 W.Derby, but she hasn't appeared on 1881/1891 census with a sister Ann or any variation of the names. |

Family (without Ann/Frances Ann) on 1901 census at same address - I think this is her marriage, but not sure which partner: |

I thought the same about Ann Emma and Alice's births being close, but not impossibly close - then Mac found the family in 1891 with Fanny Ann. |

Going back to Una's original posting, the ages are very vague - how sure are you about the marriage and that annie (or Ann Emma) had a sister Alice? I thought the Ann Emma birth was a bit too close, but not impossible, to Alice's birth. |

I think this is the 1881 census entry Margaret mentioned, but no Alice: |

Dosen't look too good, does it? Given Annie was Ann Emma in 1911. |

Same family on 1891 census, so maybe the wrong family found on 1881? |
