	Hi Flick. Thank you for reply. His death cert states he was a Retired Ships fireman. I have no idea if his wife in Shropshire did divorce. I do know that she died in 1951 and on her death cert it says... widow of John Henry Ramsey. Her name on the cert was Elizabeth Ramsey.

	Did his wife in Shropshire get a divorce? When did he leave the family? Doesn't the death cert state the 'qualification' of the informant?

	Hi all. I was wondering if anyone can locate a marriage index for my Great Great Grandfather. He was John Henry Ramsey born 1874 in Cardiff. I have got his death cert, informant was S A Ramsey, place of death was Hull, Yorkshire, year of death was 1947. John went up North leaving his wife and family in Shropshire, So did John marry again??? i would say estimated time would be around the 1940s. Many thanks in advance Lisa
