In response to Flicks question - the reason I think Sarah married a Muggridge (yes, I spelt it wrong!) is because of a copy of a solicitors will I have here. Addressed to my uncle John James Roe it is in regards to his late aunt Mrs Harriet Teedon (spinster dtr of James Teedon) estate. It says 'your aunt, Mrs Sarah Muggridge obtained letters of admin etc.' The disbursment shows portions to Mrs S Muggridge, Mr Edward Teedon, children of Mrs Mary Roe (dcd) (Mary Teedon, my grand-mother), children of James Teedon (dcd).
Sorry if I've mislead any of you. Maybe I misread dates on the 1891 census for Greenwich which has Henry Muggeridge 26 Sarah & 25 + son Thomas. Going by 1881 & 1891 census Sarah was born 1873/4 - S O R R Y

So the 1905 marriage posted earlier is the CORRECT one.........................and Thomas etc are not relevant

I have a copy of a solicitors letter here addressed to my Dads eldest brother, John James Roe. and dated 18 Mar 1932. It's re Miss Harriet Teeden (deceased) (James Teedon's daughter - John's aunt) and states that 'your aunt, Mrs Sarah Muggridge obtained letters of admin re Harriett's estate etc' Attached is a disbursment Beneficiaries named are Mrs S Muggridge, Mr Edward Teedon, children of the late Mrs Mary Roe (my grand-mother) and children of Mr James Teedon deceased.

William, do you not have the birth certificate for Thomas born 1888? It would give mother's maiden name. Or have you jumped to conclusions without proof?
