i am trying to find anybody who could help me find what happened to martha letitia madge born 1902 she had a brother called james edmund born 1906 who was my father. my father always said she was taken from home legally by someone when he was quite young. i have looked in the marriage and deaths but cant find any trace of her.her parents where james henry and martha elizabeth madge they where all from the gateshead district

There are a few Madge (females) 1911 Census in the South Shields Easington area...could be her Christian name was altered ...she may well have been with family...

There is this Death Reg June 1922 Durham...age is slightly out but that means not a great deal...depends on who Reg.the Death and if they knew the persons age..
