do you have marriage/death details for your father? to start working backwards a step at a time to be sure of your info?

Hi my Father married my mother Thelma Webb on March the 6/1954 , in Wednesbury Staffordshire .on the marriage cert my fathers name was registerd as Cyril Webb ,his fathers name was Harry Webb (deceased ) occupation miner. My fathers brother Sydney Webb was a witness.Looks like my grandmother must have either remarried or had other children out of marriage , going to order my fathers birth and Sydneys. really gratefull for everyones help .

I got the name Eva janes from a contact on genes reunited .Is there a possibilty i have my fathers mothers name wrong , Dont think there would be much chance of somebody named Janes and Somebody named Jayne having a Cyril Webb February 1926 , dont no though . thanks
