I would think that all of the information on this thread has come from either FreeBMD (which as the name suggests is free to search), Ancestry or the 1911 census which are both subscription or credit based websites. |

You say Alice left Henry when he left to go to the war, but as Henry was born in 1869, I would have thought he would have been too old to fight in the War? |

Another certificate which would give you Alice's maiden name |

Gavin, Harry is a sort of nickname for Henry. Going by info given he was probably registered as Henry but may have called himself Harry. |

If she wasn't married to Mr. Platt when she had the three other children then they are probably registered in her first married name - Willson - even if she was not living with Mr. Willson because that was still her surname at the time. |

So the 3 children are not Platt then ? |

It looks like she remarried in 1943 not 1933. Margaret has already found the marriage for you. |

You say she was born 1874, remarried 1933 and had 3 more children? She would have been 59 at remarriage, wouldn't she? |

Then she remarried in appox. 1933 and had chidren which are sid platt , dorris platt and edna..
