Could I also ask:-
1. If anyone has any info about what happened to the parents after they split up.:-
Wilfred and Sarah A.(dob 1887) Minty(neeAmos) - married 1913. They must have split between 1926(last child Ethel Rose was born) and 1932(when boys were sent to Australia.
2. How would I go about finding out which convent Ethel Rose was sent to about the same time?

For the convent, all I could suggest is googling for convents in the right area. Ethel doesn't remember anything about it?


There's no death for a Wilfred Minty in the GRO index except the son born 1913.

This is the closest I see for Sarah:

If Sarah had cohabited with someone else after the split, her death might be recorded under that surname.

Actually there's no birth for Wilfred Sr, just the marriage:
