Once again I have managed to let you down - unfortunately my computer
failed and I could not afford to have it repaired - major job

Thankfully, a friend of mine knew someone who has for the past few weeks working on it and as from 10 December 2010 I am now able to use my computer - updated and more ram as they say

1901 - Emma Rutherford born 1881 my grandmother was married to Charles lister and they came to Western Australia my father was b 1899
and I know Charlotte m Mr Wilkins and had a son and daughter early 1920's
Charles George and Elizabeth I do not have any information about them and would love to know their where abouts etc

I noted on one of the messages one of the 4 children had died I wander if it was Charles George although I see you have him down aged 15 years

I wander if you can direct me to where to look for a death notice for one of the children - although I have b een on the site for a long time, thanks to all of you I have for the first time managed to find my way into this world of assistance - I feel like I have conquered the world - silly old me - I hope I can learn to use the site with more insight - once again thank you for your kindness

I was actually looking for Charles George rutherford brother
to my g/m Emma Rutherford daughter of Charles rutherford and Susannah nee Amery Rutherford and came across George Charles thinking it may be Emma's brother
but when the marriage cert came it was not just thought it may help other members

Children to Charles and Susannah are as follows

Have info on Emma Rutherford b 1875 - my grandmother died Western Australia 1917

No Information about Charles George rutherford b abt 1876/7 on 1891 listed as Charles (no george mentioned)
Not sure if he married, died or where he is?

Have info I have found Charlotte Amery Rutherford Marriage although not her death date or where B 1881

No Information about Elizabeth Rutherford b 1879 not sure if she married or died?
Once again I am sorry for the confusion - the 1902 marriage information is for anyone who may be related to the person

I rather think that Emma's flying a kite on this...........not working through records systematically

My reading of the request (for what it's worth) is that Emma is trying to find a marriage for the son of Charles & Susannah, and obtained the 1902 cert, and has found that the father's name is not what she expected...............

I think you may be right, Flick. I'm just at a bit of a loss to see how these two families fit together. Don't like loose ends so it would be nice to know!

I suspect that we may be talking to ourselves here, Catherine.................even though Emma is practically a founder member of GR!

You say that the father of George Charles Rutherford that married Kate Riley in 1902 was Harry and they lived in Herne Hill.
