Thank you for that Jonesey, I will send my alternative message to him containing step by step guidance on how to return.......simple language and lots of space between lines. I can't tell you how often I do that!! Just sent one before I looked at this in fact.


I often have to smile at the little personal things folk include ie. he had a wooden leg, red hair, was good at woodwork etc. They must think that these things will help to locate their long lost rellies. Then I remember that whilst these things mean absolutely nothing to us, they are meaningful to the poster.

... The reason for all the personal details, I'm sure, is the idea that someone who knows the person will see the post and go Yes! I know him! He's the red-headed guy with the peg leg ... and he lives just down the block and spends his evenings building furniture in his garage!

and boy is he noisy!!! can't think how many times I've told him to give it a rest!!! just hope he never saws through his leg by accident!!
