I have been trying to find details of my grandmother for a long time. She always said she was born in Maryport Cumberland B. 21 Sept 1870/1871. Fathers name on her wedding cert was John dec. Mariner. There doesn't seem to be a Birth Cert. for her. The Catholic church have looked in Maryport for her. I just don't know where to look any more. She may have been Irish she married an Irish man although she didn't have an accent. Anybody have any ideas |
