Sylvia I had a quick look at that thread this morning and it started over a year ago. Could that have been the one you remembered?

MC I found a baptism yesterday with the same spelling in Greenwich again on the same page as one of mine. Are you stalking me or what?
Again it does not relate to what you have so far but may relate a little further back.

he he :))))

LK ....... no, there was definitely another one that was being worked on within the last few months, in which the problem was solved although it took quite a time to convince the poster of it! It ran to 2 or 3 pages if I remember correctly.

This is an older house. No wall is straight, no corners are right angled

So, we had a problem on Friday of two of the countertops not meeting correctly at a corner, 90 degree angle cuts made etc etc, but didn't fit.

Was not a happy camper

Told daughter yesterday, sent her some pics, she did some consulting this morning (her time) with her boss and a couple of people ........... phone went at 7am our time with a couple of possible solutions.

She talked to our counter top guy, he agreed that her suggestions were feasible ............... perfectly fitting corner now!

And we can fudge the extra bit of space at the other end ............... nice decoration next to the cooker for example!

Re Irene's international playboy thread

http://www.genesreunited.com/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1248407

After reading it (I found the census image by searching the 1881 for occupation "ponce" no other info), I thought I'd see what I might find.

Search the 1881 by occupation alone, for "prostitute": 425 results. Most of them prisoners, but a few heads of household!

How Sylvs manages to provide such a super breakfast when she has all that trauma of a new kitchen is beyond me. Superwoman indeed! Thank you Sylvs. I'd offer to wash up but I think you have a dishwasher don't you? Never mind, Dea and I will tidy everything away after the mob have been. ;))

So how did Jane Canack end up? Did she escape from the clutches of her brother and uncle? Hope she lived happily ever after.

Gotta go.
