does this thread seem familiar to anyone??

Or am I just going crazy in thinking that we sorted it all out some months ago, but she didn't believe a lot of it??

I have a feeling requester Marina was elderly

I have looked but can find only one other thread under her name ..... in 2005, and that is not what I was thinking.

8.15 and no one about! Mmmm first down to breakfast then (unless that Dea is hiding behind the chair). How about CocoPops for a change? Big kid that I am. Thanks Sylvs.

Looks like several of us do the 'broke three front teeth' type of message that Janey is on about. Those boasting letters really, really rile me. I get one every year from an old boyfriend..........fantastic job, fabulous salary, incredible family, exotic holidays, extravagent cars...blah blah blah. I tend to end up binning them in disgust! Lucky escape there for me I reckon!! hahahaha

I think we may buy a snow shovel today.....how's that for excitement?? We do have an old spade which I used last year when snowbound, but it almost gave me a hernia using it!

It looks foggy across the fields at the back this morning - haven't opened the front blinds yet. Must do it soon or the neighbours will think we have passed on!

Shower time. Have a good day one and all.

Plastic shovels (really strong)come in some really bright colours including barbie pink ! really light and easy to use for snow or mucking out horses, sold mostly at horsey type places, but are online.

Everything is frozen solid outside, even in the sun at the mo...

Thanks for that Fans but OH has a voucher for a garden centre and thought he would use it to get a snow wotsit. I am sure you look wonderful trudging round with a loaded Barbie pink shovel!

Cynthia

Are you sure of yer facts Fans? The box Brownie wasn't introduced until 1900.

Gee

Gee Report 15 Nov 2010 19:33

I seem to remember my dad having a box brownie....it was brown and in a leather brown case

OK...the clues in the colour!

Is that the one?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 15 Nov 2010 19:47

That may be Model 2 Gins. My dad had one too. It was in a brown sort of sackclothy case.

I bet Fans photographer was one of those who used to have his camera on a tripod and then he would disappear under the big sheet to take the photo..........cute.
