Oooh..now I am going out (after me cuppa) to buy some cards!

Gee

Gee Report 17 Dec 2012 13:26

I am a genius :-D :-D :-D :-D

Been wondering for weeks what to buy JB for Christmas and I had a moment of pure genius, this morning

As you know he lost his wedding ring a few weeks ago.....so, this morning, I hunted out two old rings, one mine and the other his.

Went accross the city to jeweller where we bought our wedding rings. I Had a long chat and the outcome...

..............he is going to melt the rings together and make a wedding for JB! I have told him how I want it, so it will be unique. Would have been cheaper to buy one off the shelf, but I wanted it to be special

Im sat here, like a cheshire cat!

It sounds like an awful lot of effort to get you both to that 10am service on Christmas day Cynthia but I know it is worth it to you :-)

Not long to go now - I wrapped LOTS of prezzies over the wekend but they are all in the front bedroom and grandson will be here this afternoon so I have to find somewhere to hide them all before then or he will be ripping all the paper off :-D :-D

See you all later,

My Dads sister sent me some photos of my GG's they go back to 1890 .Have one of my GGran when she was 18.

Also one of her in uniform holding one of her granchildren who was a new baby she was a midwife and had 10 children.

I am now lucky enough to have photos of 7 of my GGparents no one can remember ever seeing a photo of the missing GG :-(

My Aunt got the photos ages ago from her sister in Canada (now deceased) and she never knew her Grandparents names (?) I was able to tell her their names their siblings names and their DOB and DOM and the date they died.

MY GGrandad looks like one of my Dads brothers :-)

I've deleted one Gins. Must have been caused by the hiccups cos my day has been a bit like that... :-D

Was a bit stressed this morning because I had forgotten to set the alarm on my phone and we need to get up at 6.45 so that OH's meds fit in with him being able to go you know where for 11 am.

Didn't get up till 7 am so that meant we were 15 mins behind time and those 15 mins really matter. We only just made it cos of the delay. At 10 oclock he couldn't even lift his razor to have a shave. By 10.15 he finished getting ready and by 10.30 we were in the car.....................huge sigh of relief all round..... :-D

On Christmas Day we will have to get up 5.45 to get to the special 10am service................sheeeeeesh......zzzzzzzzz no rest for the wicked ;-)

Think I may take meself orf to bed now.........too much excitement for one day

Night night all..........xx

I have to say, he must have been working VERY hard because he seems to have lost at least 2 stone since I saw him only last week !! - His large tummy was looking quite slim ;-)

Goodnes knows what he will look like by the time Christmas is over :-D

Dea

Dea Report 16 Dec 2012 13:55

It's all very quiet here today !!!

I am off out soon to see Santa AGAIN !!

Taking grandchildren to the Christmas Party at the Golf Club and he will be there too :-D

I would have thought he would be a bit busy wrapping all the presents to be going to all these parties ;-)

Grandson is goind to be 'beside himself' when he opens his present and sees that he has a 'rock guitar' which he' SO wants' (according to him) !

Hope grand-daughter likes her Barbie Car present too :-)

See you all later.
