There is something very wrong with this picture !

I am normaly just a bystander on these boards but do try to help when I think I have the info somebody is looking for. The fact that if you haven't been recognised as a yellow star in the clinic you have no right to comment on their findings smacks of an attemt to discredit non yellow star good folk all very sinister to me

This sucks so hard.

I am looking at page 516 now. When I actually clicked on page 516 in the row of numbers, I got this NONEXISTENT url:

I had to edit it to this:

to get to the actual page.

As long as I don't edit this post, I should be able to keep going.

This is ridiculous.

There's a thread on page 1 of TTF now about births at sea/Shropshire or something. Apparently I've postd in it; it's in my threads.

But no matter how I approach it, I get nothing but a blank page.

The TTF threads are showing the name of the surname board the thing went to as part of the url now.

The surname for that one is a string of similar names separated by slashes. Presumably there was a surname board generated with that ridiculous heading:

Enough. These people have bigger fools doing their web work for them than the old ones did. Or are they the same ones, and they've been given an assignment they aren't remotely qualified for ...

so I can get back here after posting.

The s i b may have been a board glitch (Ann in glos lost the spaces in her name for a while ...) -- the person seems to have reverted to a longer name that contains those letters, but that may have been choice, switch and switch back. Yes, the long thread where I'm being ignored.

Tihs truly is ridiculous.

GR have obviously brought in new software to "enhance" the site which has had a knock on effect with all threds very anoying for existing members but the only new thing added is the clinic which appears to be a GR sanctioned advisory board thus diminishing any help that any non star members gives

I get p 1 when I click on that

OMG....this is getting worse. I am NOT scrolling down 600 pages to get to the end of a thread

GR please sort out this mess or you are going to lose people...me included

Also.....when you are making major changes to a website you can keep the existing site running while making changes to a ghost site

When the ghost site is fit and ready to use....you can remove the old site and go live with the new

Why havent GR used this method????


Starry advisors should have been voted for too. How do GR know who is good at what?

Flippin' eck! What a shambles - thank goodness Sylvs got that breakfast ready for us. Thank you Sylvia - strong coffees all round I think.


I have sent three complaints via their Contact us button so far. I am now going onto the Help Clinic page where you can contact the Genes Team also. Attack from all sides is due I think.
