Great, I was posting using the open reply box, and I got an error message. And was completely unable to go to a different page. Now I go to this thread in another tab, and I find I'm reverted back to the "Add" link in each post. Which could be because I'm in an old version of the thread (different url) so this won't work either ...

To get Boer War enrolment papers from Kew, you gotta go there and look for them. They aren't likely going to show up on a search at the NA site.

That's how I got my guy's -- or one of our fine members here got 'em for me. She went and hunted. If you were being serious there -- I'd be happy to pass her contact info on (off board, because there's a fee involved).

Oh, and over at the Clinic, my thread now shows with some text from a post in the middle of the thread as the snippet in the thread list. Is that what we're talking about?
