Micheal if you look right back to the beginning I named my grandad as Ernest..

I would love to go further back but am not having much luck? Don't think I'm very good at this!

Have you found Ernests parents marriage by looking on

freebmd.org.uk.

If not that is where you need to start.

Also you will need to buy Certificates at £9.25p each along the way to verify everything.

Or the reg office that the BMD was reg with.

Marriages Sep 1901
ANDREWS Blanche Wells 5c 877
BOBBETT Henry John Wells 5c 877

Which was very easy to find on Freebmd with it being an uncommon surname.

Which gives you their names to be able to find them on 1911 census together for their ages and places of birth,which Jax has posted earlier.

Now you need to look for them seperately on 1901 as they did not marry until after the census was taken.
