Hi, I believe she was widowed in about early 1942, or late as her husband was captured by the Japanese and taken on one of the prisoner of war ships which was subsequently bombed whilst travelling to Japan, they had had only 6 weeks of marriage and they would have been married in the autumn of 1941, many thanks. |

Does anyone know of a Dorothy Leach widower of a Herbert Sidney Leach, Dorothy was born 1920 in Kent, she may have married someone from Reading or Bedford afteror when she was in the WAAF, her maiden surname was Howard and her father was a miner in Aylesham Kent, thank you. |
