Hi Debbie.

Just a bit more info for you....so you can keep track of them....:>))

In 1931after their marriage registration 1926 in Perth, Western Australia..... Charlotte Louisa/Louise GRIFFITHS ( Pinchin ) and hubbie must have moved across from West coast, to East coast, to the State of Victoria ( Melbourne ) at some stage............it appears hubbie was a Chef.

1931
Name: Charlotte Louise Griffiths
Gender: Female
Electoral Year: 1931
State: Victoria
District: Melbourne
Subdistrict: Melbourne East
58 Jolimont St.
Living in same house was Thomas Joseph Griffiths Occ: Chef

So best if your looking for possible children, then i would search in both Western Australia, and Victoria.

Thankyou Tony,

Now I possibly have both sisters marriages, next step for me is to try and confirm the finds then find out if they had any children, as they may still be alive. This is happening so fast, it is great!
Thanks again

The 1911 census is on find my past.co.uk I paid £40 approx for 6 months just to access that year, credits are a lot cheaper but do not last very long
I dont know what it is in aus $ Im affraid
If the charlotte I gave you is correct wonder what she was doing in a home for fallen women

jax
EDIT credits cost in the UK £6.95 for 60 that last 90 days
or £24.95 for 280 that last a year

As the 1911 census costs 10 credits a time it would soon be used up and 30 credits to look at the original

p,s I sent you a pm advising you how to return to your threads ....ignore it

Hi Dorothy,
I'm hoping this is my Charlotte, but the age is a few years older. I'm hoping that it was a misprint somewhere along the historical trail. It is only 3 years never know!!!

Thankyou for your help
much appreciated
