Mary Ann was born 1878.......and is unlikely t9 be the one who died in childbirth.......There is a tree on Ancestry for John Aram and Elizabeth Hicking..their daughter Maty Ann went omn to marry Joseph Henry Henderson and to have at least one child. I also have the death of John in 1878...............
Sorry..Birth registered OND 1877..I was looking at Christening.which was 1878.

ooops!! John Aram did not die 1878..becasue he and Elizabeth and mary Ann were indeed lodging in 1891..at manvers Street Sneinton Nottingham..I know it well!! lol

As I said, Mary Ann was born before parents marriage, so please check it out for correct parents.

You say she maried Joseph Henry Henderson, but it is entered as Sanderson.

Where did you find that marriage in Feb 1897 ?

It only appears to have been registered in Oct -Nov-Dec Quarter of same year !!!

I notice that after all our hard work..Heather has not been back!!!

To be fair, if she's new to the boards she probably assumes that any replies will turn up in her inbox like they do with search trees contacts.

Let's hope she re-visits tomorrow and stops us running down any more blind alleys.

I believe Elizabeth to be my Great Great Grand Mother her daughter
Mary Ann married John Henry Sanderson and their son John was my Grandfather.
I cannot find anything about Elizabeth before her marriage to John Aram
on the earlier censuses so as to find her parents .

I cant believe the coincidence on this family. A student of mine asked me to find some info for him a few weeks ago and reading your thread it looks to be the same family in 1911

If you search trees you will find him and this family, he has some fantastic items such as post cards from the trenches and other items. His name is 'Gordon Ryan' born Sheffield

So where is Gordon Ryans tree??? Do you have a connection to Gordon at all. I seem to remember that Clara married a 'Ryan'
