Hi Ginny, Im chasing a long shot really, Wondering why Robert moved to Coventry from Cheveley? His occupation as a groom would not have enticed him to an industrial town, surely? Did Hannah and himself share the same employer? Who was that employer? Stables maybe or perhaps a manorial estate in the Cheveley area? Did the birth of Lucy mean that Hannah lost her job?
They did raise three sons in Coventry (Lucy died 1852) before moving on to Atherstone but this Cheveley/Coventry move is a complete puzzle to me, and I realize that the answers maybe lost in time.

What I'm looking for is info on where Robert and Hanna worked when they decided to leave Cheveley in 1850, were they in the same employ? Was their reason for leaving a consequence of the birth of Lucy?
And why Coventry, his occupation was not industrial.
The answers to my search could be lost in time.
