This is definatley the right Jane Ann Cochrane, unfortunatly the \andrew McCracken with the parents of John and Mary was a gardener who died in dumfries and not my ancestor who went on to be a policeman in Cumbria, but I do appreciate the help and any further assistance you can give |

The marriage that Erin found should be on Scotlandspeople - the cert will give you both partners' parents' names. |

The 1911 census can be accessed on http://www.1911census.co.uk/ - a pay to view site, although the seaching is free. Find My Past also have the 1911 census where you can take out a subscription to view the census, which works out more economic if you want to look for more than 10 images. |
