OK Then you are on my wave length. Now if you ever would like a challenge suss out a program called Legacy. This is a free (or pay for depending on which version) family tree which lives on your computer. You can play around in it and learn all about entering data to make up your family tree.
And I am not saying it is easy however if you can communicate on these boards and read instructions you should be able to enter data. There is plenty of help available within the program.

Whoo hoo!! Method in madness sometimes. What a clever bunch of people are you lot.
FBG you are going to have to sift through all this info. Draw yourself a tree on paper and put in the names and dates of birth and link the rellies. Where you are unsure of who fits where you may have to resort to certificates.
This will keep you busy for a while and may lead to more questions.

Thank you PP.
I have looked at all those before but none seem right to me as the professions are all wrong.
If William was a coachman in 1881 and again on sons MC in 1904 I would have thought that he would be a groom at least on earlier census which is how they step up to become coachmen? And been a coachman or similar in 1891/1901,not a masons labourer, although of course they did change jobs.
I will have to look at them again I think.
AnnOGG,our Queen of google,I thought you at least would have found me a Compton Morton in the west country.
On the 1881 image it is definatley Compton Morton and also Devon if you look up the page to others?
