Looks like some sort of institution she's in in 1841 |

The Sarah found by Rootgatherer in 1841 is in the Workhouse. |

That looks right Rootgatherer. On the christening record Sarah has a sister Ann christened 1830. |

A reason for them to be in the workhouse perhaps - this looks like the father's death:- |

Does that 1861 entry list Sarah as James' daughter or niece ? |

The Sarah on the 1861 census that Rootgatherer found does give her father as James so I don't think she is the one you are looking for. |

You say that the death record on FreeBMD has her age out by 20 or more years. Are you sure you have the correct death record? There is this death where the age would be near enough right for a birth in 1833:- |

I have her and Frederick still living in Liscard in 1911 on the 1911 census. They had been in this area for 20 years at least. Although the name and ages seem to fit, it seems more likely she died in Liscard. The name True isn't exactly a common one to the area. |

I still feel that the death in Burnley is the nearest in age to "your" Sarah and it does have the correct middle initial. People don't always die in the place where they live. She could have been ill in hospital, moved into a nursing home, been visiting friends - any number of reasons for being in the Burnley registration district when she died. |
