I live in Chesham and as the parish records on not on the familysearch site I would be able to go to the library and try and look up anyone who have relations that came from CHESHAM

hi Linda

unfortunately the records for Bletchley are not in the Chesham library only the chesham ones. The only way I could look for you is to look in Aylesbury where all the records are kept for Bucks parishes. I am not planning to go at the moment but if I do I will bear it in mind sorry I cant be of more use

regards
Ann

Hi Ann
My father's family came from Chesham and moved to Nottingham in the late 19thC. I have managed to find out that my greatx2 grandfather was George James Lewis, b 1810 Chesham and married Elizabeth Mead in 1833 in Chesham. George's parents were James and Mary Lewis, but I cannot find anything out about them ie the date they were married etc and also whether they had any other children apart from George James. I know this is a long shot, but wonder if you would be able to help?
Best wishes
Pat

If you have a spare moment could you have a look for birth details of Timothy Adams, b c 1809 in Chesham. He married Sarah Weedon in 1846 but I have been unable to find any birth info for him.
Thank you

Ann
