Hi Rose ...

Thank you so much for all those census entries - you've just about cleared up Harriet's entire life!

So ... all I still have to find is Harriet and William's marriage. I have a feeling it may have been of the "shotgun" variety (unmarried in the Spring, child born in the Autumn!) and as such may have taken place swiftly at Preston Capes (or perhaps Weedon) with the couple then leaving for married life in Hampshire. In view of this, the marriage may not have been registered, so I shall have a look through the PRs of both parishes in the hope of finding it.
