Ancestry have parish records for some of the London parishes Steve.

Banns: Banns are read for (usually) three consecutive weeks prior to the wedding - in the church of the bride and groom - just to make sure that everyone knows the wedding is going to happen and if anyone is going to object they have a chance.

If the age is not obvious (ie Banns or where they put "full age") it is quite often transcribed as the year of the event. Confusing or what?

There isn't a marriage for either an Annie or a Henrietta Sherringham in 1916 on Ancestry.

EDIT - SORRY - there is a marriage in 1916 - I but two "r's" in Sheringham by mistake. On the marriage record she is Annie H. Sheringham.

i belive she died , annie nathan in about 1969/70, married as annie in 1916, but think she was born henrietta, not poss about birth year

This is the only birth on Ancestry for Elias Sherringham (earlier than you say):-

And the only birth for Henrietta Sherringham (again earlier than you say):-

Why have you got the names Annie and Henrietta for your great grandmother?

On the 1891 census an Annie Sherringham age 1 is a patient in East London Hospital for Children and Dispensary for Women in Shadwell, London. Birthplace is nor known.
